About Freak Software

Seth Willits
Orange, California

Behind Freak Software is Seth Willits, a student at California State University, Long Beach.

Seth has been programming for the Macintosh since he was knee-hight to a grass hopper. What started off as the creation of a simple HyperCard stack became a deep passion for software development.

While currently exercising extreme skills in REALbasic (with half a brain tied behind his back- just to make it fair), Seth is knowledgable or fluent in a number of programming lanugages. Although having sold products to satisfied customers in 18 countries, by no means is this poor bugger rich!

Seth is currently the President, Head Developer, and Janitor of Freak Software, is the current REALbasic guru for ResExcellence, is a former writer for REALbasic Developer Magazine, contractor/collaborator for/with other companies, and a two-time recipient of the Apple Student Scholarship to the annual Apple Worldwide Developer Conference in San Francisco, California.

Seth's main hobbies and interests both personally and professionally are computer programming, web design, management, and creation, professional motor sports racing such as the Champ Car World Series and Forumula 1, radio controlled cars, drumming (a previous drummer in both junior high and high school jazz bands as well as a former marching bass, tennor, and snare player), paintballing, racing Porsches, BMWs, and even Ferraris in his 2004 Ford F-150 SuperCab XLT (not that they know he's racing them, but that's besides the point), and driving at race tracks in California like the famous Laguna Seca Raceway and classic Willow Springs in his father's well modified 1997 Eagle Talon Turbo. (The picture below is a few years old. We need a more recent one with Seth driving!)
